By obtaining our oil with the same method that was used a thousand years ago, we can be sure that we make a natural and high quality product. At Biocalaceite we believe that when food was industrialized, prices went down, but quality fell correspondingly lower. This is the reason why we use the old elaboration method. Our manager of the Molino, José María, is the fourth generation of a family which is dedicated to the production of olive oil with this method; it is evident that we are in the best hands.
The time-honoured process requires great skill and dedication to produce high quality oil, and that’s why this method has practically disappeared. It is very difficult to find professionals capable of preparing this type of oil. Which is what makes our product really special and unique.
